SANTORINI This breathtaking island one hour by plane from Athens is of volcanic origin and juts 1000 feet up from the sea below. It boasts magnificent clusters of white washed dwellings that seem to defy gravity. You may be too overwhelmed to settle down and paint, but we'll definitely give it a try! A sunset visit to the tip of the island will undoubtedly be one of the highlights of your entire life.

POROS
Poros is a sparkling jewel in the Saronic Gulf, 1
1/2 hours south west of Athens by boat, or 2 1/2 hours by coach. It
rests a breath away from the eastern edge of the Peloponnese peninsula
and is noted for its warmth & hospitality. It is studded with olive,
cypress & lemon groves alongside tile roofed shops, cafes and villas.
The island awaits with open arms and the busy fishing port is flanked by
delightful tavernas & whitewashed houses that climb the surrounding
hillsides beckoning each visitor up and up the irregular steps to catch
spectacular views. Day trips to Galatas, Nauplion & Hydra will
perfectly round out our Greek Island Odyssey. The quaint port town of
Nauplion, is delightfully situated on a rocky peninsula projecting into
the calm waters of the Argolic Gulf. Galatas, with a spectacular view to
Poros town is a 5 minute water taxi ride away, while Nauplion will be a
full day’s trip by coach with a stop at the ancient site of Epidavros en
route. Hydra, with its stunning U-shaped harbor surrounded by steep
hillsides dotted with tile-roofed dwellings and inviting waterfront
shops and cafes will also be a full day trip that takes approx. an hour
to reach by boat.
